David Carr Mathewson

(Non-Executive Chairman)

David Carr Mathewson (59)–David is Chairman of Amazing Holdings plc, Asian Growth Properties Limited, Geared Opportunities Income Trust plc and Talk 107 Edinburgh Ltd and immediate past Chairman of Sportech plc. He is also a non-executive director of Edinburgh UK Tracker Trust plc and a trustee of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. David is a qualified chartered accountant and has been involved in advising leisure companies for many years.

Vikram Lall CBE, CA

(Non-Executive Director)

Vikram Lall (59)-Vikram Lall joined the Corsie Group in 2006. He is a chartered accountant and, prior to joining Bell Lawrie, was a director of Noble Grossart before forming his own corporate finance advisory company, which he subsequently sold to Bell Lawrie. He became an Executive Director of Brewin Dolphin in June 1993 and a Non-Executive Director in December 2003. He is Chairman of the Scottish Industrial Development Advisory Board and Ryden LLP; a Non-Executive Director of, inter alia, ISIS Property Trust, Crown Place VCT, Ramco Holdings Limited and a member of the governing body of Queen Margaret University College.

Jim Aitken

(Non-Executive Director)

Jim Aitken (60) - joined Corsie Group in 2007. A former Scotland Rugby Captain and well known for leading his country to a grand slam victory in 1984 and a 25:25 draw against the All Blacks, Jim is an experienced and successful businessman. Jim owns and operates Alexander Inglis and Son Limited, one of Scotland's largest grain merchants based at Ormiston near Tranent, and successfully sold Scotmalt Limited to malt derivative merchant Muntons plc in 2003. Jim historically held Directorships at The Independent Merchants (Scotland) Limited and The Kirklison Property Company Limited amongst others. He currently fulfils a Director role in Kirkliston Ventures Limited.

Richard Corsie MBE

(Chief Executive)

Richard Corsie (40)–is responsible for the business development strategy of the group. Richard was Sales Director at Greengauge Sports from 1993-1995 and Managing Director from 1995-1996 before going on to acquire the company. Richard guided the Professional Bowls association through some difficult negotiations with the BBC during his time as Chairman and was hugely influential in the development of the World Bowls Tour. The PBA now have a 51% stake in the future of bowls and a new favourable BBC contract which was all negotiated and implemented during Richard’s three year office as executive Chairman.

David McArthur ACCA

(Finance Director)

David McArthur (38)–A Finance Director with 12 years experience in senior finance and business advisory roles across a wide range of sectors. Qualifying with Thomson Cooper in 1995 he then worked as Financial Controller at City lighting services before moving to Cheque centres limited. David joined the Corsie group as Group financial controller in 2003 and was made Finance Director on 1st August 2005 following the completion of a two year restructuring programme.

Graham Robertson

(Sales Director)

Graham Robertson (50)–joined the Corsie group in 1996 as the Sports Sales Director. Graham was appointed Managing Director of Greengauge Sports in 2001 and in 2003 the responsibility of Greengauge Surfaces was added. Recent highlights include the successful relocation/integration of these businesses.
